Ralena has over 30 years of experience and expertise specializing in the healthcare industry. As a young innovator, she performed all RCM functions to best understand and perfect some automation with technology in RCM Space. She has worked as a Practice Manager for over 14 years and transformed a single physician practice to 129 physicians strong, there she performed credentialing services for the entire practice, managed staff, and was the liaison between the providers and the board members. She also managed customer call centers for the third leading insurance company and for the 5th largest healthcare provider in the US.

She has made a career analyzing data, providing revenue cycle management financial and process consultation services to healthcare organizations, such as: privately funded hospitals, individual practices, multigroup practices, Catholic charity organizations, specialty clinics and both profit and non-profit venues, with a focus of patient access. She has performed both rapid and full diagnostic assessments, charge description master (CDM) re-alignments, redesigns, implementations, business acquisition transformations, charge capture/entry integrity standardizations, complex regulatory requirements, compliance plans and risk assessments, managed care contracting assessments, EHR/EMR assessments and building pathways, and analyzing front end processes to maximize revenue.

Apart from GRS, Ralena enjoys sharing reasons for gratitude, perseverance and faith. She has been a serial entrepreneur since 1995, having started and scaled other businesses in jewelry, construction, and restaurant/food industry. She enjoys staying busy volunteering for charitable organizations, supporting homeless communities, her time with her two labradoodles (Moose and Bourbon), exploring new country, mentoring, cooking, baking, and spending quality time with my home and work families.
